Look out for information about our next three hikes! As Spring nears, we look forward to some warm season hikes. We will plan one in February, March and April.

Banks has been recognized as an 'A' school by the Arizona Department of Education for the 2023-2024 school year!

On December 16, representatives from Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority planted a tree at Banks K-6, in honor of our school's namesake, Dr. Laura Banks-Reed.

After our school garden was vandalized, the community came together to rebuild. Huge thanks to Ace Hardware for stepping up with donations and support to help bring the garden back to life!

Banks Elementary School is now offering 6th grade! Sixth grade students will follow a modified middle school model that will prepare them to transition to seventh grade. English Language Arts and Social Studies will be taught in one block and Math and Science will be taught in one block. Students will have art, band or orchestra, PE and Avid as elective choices. We are excited for this next chapter for our school!
